The individual entry fee for the members of a National Portuguese Triathlon Federation is 60€ and for non members of a National Portuguese Triathlon Federation is 90€.
800m swim, 25km bike, 5.5 km run
The entry fee for the sprint distance is 12.5€.
The ocean swim is in the clear water of Ponta Delgada's sheltered harbour close to the Military museum (Museu Militar dos Açores). Participants in the half distance will have to swim 1.9km (2 loops in the triangular swim course).
Participants in the sprint distance will swim a single 800m loop.
Exit of the swim will be behind
Cais da Sardinha Bar.
In half distance the bike leg of 84km (1 loop) will take place leaving Portas do Mar complex in Ponta Delgada city towards the west, around the coast of the São Miguel Island, passing through the villages (freguesias) Relva, Feteiras, Candelaria, Ginetes, Mosteiros, João Bom, Bretaña, Remédios, Santo António, Capelas, Fenais da Luz and Calhetas, where it changes direction to the south, passing by Pico da Pedra, Fajã de Cima and Covoada, and again from the Relva to the Portas do Mar.
In sprint distance the bike leg is 28km (1 loop) with leaving Portas do Mar complex towards
the west, passing by Relva until Miradouro da Vigia das Feteiras with return by the Sanguinal passing again by Relva until coming back to the Portas do Mar.
It will take place on the Ponta Delgada promenade. Participants in the half distance race will have to run 21.1 km with 4 loops and participants in the sprint
distance will have to run 5.5km with 1 loop. The road run follows laps of a mainly flat course with little slope along the harbour and out into the villages along the seafront with
mix of the roads asphalt and sidewalk.
